North Korea Research Group

The North Korea Research Group (NKRG) is a dynamic student organization consisting of undergraduate and graduate students of the University of Toronto dedicated to the study of North Korea.

The research entails a multi-disciplinary approach to North Korea to foster a comprehensive awareness on the complexity that surrounds the region.

Under the directive of an advisory board of specialists, the NKRG believes such a dedicated multi-disciplinary study of North Korea, will through initiatives such as seminars and academic reports, be able to:

1. Collect and make accessible information regarding the region,
2. Research and study of the region and all parties involved,
3. Disseminate the material to foster mature discussion and debate among academics, students, and the public.
